Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem
About The Position
University Radiology is seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist for its Elizabeth, New Jersey imaging office and other Northern and Central locations. The role involves working various shifts as needed. Technologists may be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must follow all department and facility safety protocols. Ultrasound Technologists are required to be certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Technologists must be certified in RVT and at least one of those areas to qualify. University Radiology will reimburse educational materials and exam costs for additional certifications and provide a bonus once they are obtained.
Requirements
- ARDMS registration in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN.
- At least 2 years of work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound technologist duties at the Elizabeth, NJ imaging office and other Northern and Central locations as needed.
- Work various shifts as needed.
- Adhere to department and facility safety protocols when working in or near specialized imaging equipment.
