Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem
About The Position
University Radiology is hiring a per diem Ultrasound Technologist for its imaging office in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The position is scheduled every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The role requires certification in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Technologists must be certified as an RVT and in at least one of those areas to qualify. University Radiology reimburses educational materials and exam costs for additional certifications and provides a bonus once those certifications are obtained. The technologist may need to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must follow all department and facility safety protocols. The stated pay is $47 per hour.
Requirements
- ARDMS registration in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN.
- At least 2 years of work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ultrasound Vascular Technologists must have RVT certification and certification in at least one of Abdomen, Breast, or OB/GYN.
Responsibilities
