About The Position

Lumexa Imaging, through its partner Touchstone Medical Imaging, is seeking a motivated, patient-focused part-time Ultrasound Technologist to support the Oaktree Plaza outpatient imaging center in Denton, Texas. The role performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting while ensuring patient safety and comfort, accurate imaging, and an exceptional patient experience. Coverage is needed on Monday or Thursday for one 12-hour shift per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required.
State licensure as required.

Nice To Haves

Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound procedures, such as general, vascular, and OB/GYN studies as applicable, according to physician orders and established protocols.
Position patients appropriately, acquire images, and perform quality assurance.
Provide patients with clear instructions and compassionate care throughout examinations.
Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images.
Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and promptly report issues.
Follow safety, infection-control, and HIPAA requirements.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
Keep exam rooms and work areas clean and organized.
