About The Position

ImageCare Radiology is seeking an experienced Part Time Ultrasound Technologist for their Sparta location. New hires must attend a first-day orientation at the Mount Olive office. The role involves providing patients with excellent care and experience, performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies, and working with radiologists to gather medical images. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis.

Requirements

At least one year of working experience at a hospital or working independently is preferred.
Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.

Responsibilities

Performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Working closely with the radiologists to gather medical images.
Ensuring an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
Performing all Ultrasound exams including General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
