About The Position

ImageCare Radiology is seeking an experienced Part Time Ultrasound Technologist for our Sparta location. All new hires are required to attend first-day orientation at our Mount Olive office before reporting to their assigned work location or training site. The schedule we are looking to fill is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Initial training days and times will be discussed and agreed upon between the manager/supervisor and the employee. This position is responsible for providing patients with the best care and experience while working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies. The Ultrasound Technologist works closely with the radiologists to gather medical images and ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during their procedure. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis by the radiologist.

Requirements

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Flu and proof of MMR Vaccination Requirement: It is ImageCare's Company Policy that all personnel must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.

Nice To Haves

At least one year working at a hospital experience or working independently is preferred.
Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Work closely with radiologists to gather medical images.
Ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
Perform ALL Ultrasound exams including: General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
