Ultrasound Technologist - Weekend Only
About The Position
TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to perform imaging procedures ordered by physicians and support quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic environment. The role includes weekday and weekend coverage on Friday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The technologist performs surgery and portable exams, follows physician orders, documents exam completion in Meditech, and scans, documents, and verifies images in PACS. The role also follows quality-control and high-level disinfection procedures for equipment and accessories and documents relevant patient history, including laboratory values.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Obtain ARRT(S) or ARDMS registration for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within six months of employment start date.
- Obtain RVT and AB within one year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of related experience is preferred.
