Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist
About The Position
ImageCare Radiology is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist for their Hackettstown location. This role involves providing patients with the best care and experience, performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies, and working closely with radiologists to gather medical images. The ideal candidate will ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures and is expected to be professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis. All new hires must attend a first-day orientation at the Mount Olive office.
Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year working at a hospital experience or working independently is preferred.
- Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
- Working closely with radiologists to gather medical images.
- Ensuring an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
- Performing all Ultrasound exams including General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
