About The Position
The Ultrasound Technologist joins MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital’s Imaging/Radiology team and performs diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The technologist works with the team to provide comprehensive, compassionate imaging care for patients. This is a 1.0 FTE position scheduled for 40 hours weekly on the evening shift. The posting offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 24-month commitment.
Requirements
- Graduate from, or be graduation-eligible within six months of, a formal ultrasound technology training program.
- Be registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- If registry is pending, complete the appropriate registration within 12 months from the date of employment.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred.
