About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, particularly in specialized ultrasound procedures, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
• Strong experience with prostate ultrasound procedures
• Hands-on experience with VU Ultrasound System required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent required
• ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) required
• BLS Certification required

Nice To Haves

• ARRT preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams following established protocols
• Prepare patients and clearly explain procedures
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment for optimal imaging quality
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Capture and transfer images to PACS for physician interpretation
• Assist physicians and radiologists during procedures as needed
• Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Manage supplies and support daily operational needs
• Assist with scheduling, patient coordination, and workflow management
• Support training and mentoring of new staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned
