The Ultrasound Technologist in MFM performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders. Requirements
- Current ARDMS (OB or AB or RVT) Certification OR Current ARRT(RT)(S) or ARRT(RT)(VS) Registered OR Current CCI (RVS) Registered
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program
- OB/GYN experience
- Aptitude toward the team philosophy
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.
- Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary.
- Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique.
- Meets all computer and documentation competencies.
- Maintains sterile procedure.
- Provides exceptional communication and patient care skills.
