About The Position
The Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician will join the premier high-risk obstetrics team at Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a distinguished service of Dignity Health. This role involves leading specialized care for complex pregnancies in a high-volume, resource-rich environment at the Dignity Health Perinatal and Women’s Center in Santa Maria, California. The practice is closely integrated with Marian Regional Medical Center, which features a state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and is recognized for excellence in perinatal safety and clinical outcomes. This opportunity is part of a robust, established ambulatory clinic system with over 160 employed physicians and 20 specialty services. The ideal candidate is a productive specialist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a thriving, growing community.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain).
- DEA certification.
- Proficiency in advanced prenatal diagnostic procedures and fetal surveillance.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum MFM services including high-risk consultations.
- Perform targeted ultrasounds (Level II).
- Conduct amniocentesis.
- Co-manage complex maternal conditions.
- Collaborate with a team of OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Pediatric Subspecialists.
- Utilize state-of-the-art GE Voluson ultrasound machines.
- Utilize integrated Cerner EHR for streamlined reporting.
