About The Position
InVia Fertility Specialists is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer to join our clinical team on a part-time, weekend-only basis, working every Saturday and/or Sunday. This role plays a critical part in the patient experience by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate care throughout the fertility process. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and looking for a reliable, weekend schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- Women's health or fertility experience strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred; training provided
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification preferred
- ARRT Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform pregnancy, pelvic, baseline, and follicular ultrasounds
- Accurately record and maintain ultrasound data and related documentation
- Explain procedures such as cyst aspirations and hysterosonograms and obtain informed consent
- Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with OSHA standards
- Prepare rooms and equipment for all sonographic procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and assist with specimen collection (training provided for those new to this skill)
- Support the clinical team with additional tasks as required
