About The Position
Paradise Valley Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform ultrasound examinations and produce technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The technician positions patients and equipment, creates appropriate recordings, and processes and transmits images to PACS. Paradise Valley Hospital is a 291-bed acute care hospital serving the San Diego community. It provides services including acute rehabilitation, cardiac catheterization, inpatient and outpatient surgery, emergency care, and behavioral health services.
Requirements
- RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region, required within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, or current certification as specified above and graduation within 90 days of hire.
- Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
- Proficient computer skills.
