BHMG OBGYN is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Tech. With limited supervision, this role coordinates the delivery of health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Ultrasound Tech establishes and maintains standards of care in Ultrasound sciences, exercises professional judgment in performance of duties, and assures appropriate patient care management. They adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment and are involved with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs. If the position involves work with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians, nuchal translucency certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment. The role requires proficient performance of the following studies: Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound, and Pelvic Ultrasound.
