About The Position
Join UT Health East Texas Physicians as a full-time, day-shift Ultrasound Tech in the OBGYN Clinic in Tyler, Texas. The role operates ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body and images for invasive procedures as directed by a Radiologist. The patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, young- to middle-aged adult, and geriatric patients. UT Health East Texas Physicians operates 90 primary and specialty care clinics and eight urgent care centers across the region. Requirements
- Graduate of an ARDMS-approved Ultrasound program.
- Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible within 120 days of hire.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate all ultrasound equipment and perform ultrasound-required exams.
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and/or invasive procedures, as directed by a Radiologist.
- Perform ultrasound examinations for pediatric, adolescent, young- to middle-aged adult, and geriatric patients.
