About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a PRN Ultrasound Tech at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role performs general ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures and contributes to patient care through prioritization of inpatient requests, image quality control, supply management, and instrument routing. Requirements

Hold one of the following credentials: ARDMS-RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), ARDMS-RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), or ARDMS-RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist).
Hold BLS or CPR issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform general ultrasound procedures.
Perform 2D, pulsed-wave Doppler, and color-flow Doppler evaluations of the upper and lower extremities for arterial and venous systems, as well as visceral vascular and carotid imaging.
Review inpatient requisitions and prioritize patients based on severity of illness, special procedures, special requests, and equipment availability.
Revise the patient schedule as new procedures are requested and circumstances change.
Develop film using automatic processing in a timely manner and manipulate the laser printer and processor as needed to obtain high-quality images.
Perform daily quality control checks on the processor and generate a monthly summary report of the results.
Manage procurement, storage, and routing of supplies for room preparation.
Ensure reusable instruments are delivered to the appropriate department for sterilization.
