Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school.
  • Minimum of 1 year excluding clinical training in OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound preferred.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registered or registry eligible within 90 days of hire or Certified ARDMS.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation necessary as driving between campuses is required.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, machine operation and quality patient care.
  • Ability to generate quality images in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Vascular experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Under the general supervision of the Imaging Center Manager, the Ultrasonographer is responsible for the provision of radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders.
  • Provides for patient safety and high quality testing.
