About The Position
CareSTL Health is seeking an Ultrasonographer to join our team! The Ultrasonographer produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs.
Requirements
- Must have received a Certificate of completion from an Allied Health Education (AMA) accredited radiography abdominal and ob/gyn ultrasound program which meets the certification requirements of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- 1-2 years of experience in radiology performing abdominal, routine ob/gyn, and breast ultrasound radiological exams
- Must have excellent oral/written communication skills
- Must have Reliable Transportation
Responsibilities
- Perform/produce quality Pelvic, OB, TV, Thyroid, Abdominal, Scrotal, Renal, aorta, and Breast ultrasound exams as well as radiography exams
- Scan all necessary documents into the appropriate database for interpretation by the radiologist
- Perform examinations in a safe and proper manner with all patients and practice radiation safety to patients, self, and others
- Operate other pertinent equipment in the radiology department such as computers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and printer
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Radiology and the Chief Medical Officer
