About The Position

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a part-time Ultrasonographer to perform accurate and efficient ultrasound examinations using appropriate imaging equipment. Under a site-designated leader and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the technologist exercises independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The role requires good clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality images for interpretation, while consistently following Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.

The position is based at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. It is a day-shift role scheduled for 20 hours per week, with work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on variable days and every other weekend.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal experience, as gained at the student level.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire.
• One year of required experience for the applicable sonography credential: ARDMS Sonographer (S), excluding cardiac; ARDMS Breast Sonographer (BS), excluding cardiac, general, and vascular; ARDMS Abdomen (AB), excluding cardiac and vascular; ARDMS OB/GYN (OB), excluding cardiac and vascular; ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS); or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• For the Vascular Department, ARDMS Vascular Technologist (VT) credential is required within one year of hire.
