About the position
Tempo is seeking a mid-level Product Designer with at least 5 years of experience to join their team. The company's mission is to empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals by combining cutting-edge technology, fitness science, motivating coaches, and a guided workout experience. With their innovative approach, Tempo aims to help people stay committed to their fitness routines and overcome the challenges associated with traditional fitness options. As a Product Designer, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with a lead designer to bring their vision to life.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a lead designer to bring fitness routines to life through innovative design solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and engaging product experiences
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout the design process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design
- Contribute to the overall design strategy and vision for Tempo's products
- Assist in the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides
- Support the implementation of designs by working closely with engineers and product managers
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the user experience and drive innovation in fitness technology.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer
- Ability to work closely with a lead designer
- Familiarity with bleeding-edge technology
- Knowledge of fitness science
- Motivated and able to guide individuals through fitness routines
- Strong commitment to helping people achieve their fitness goals
