UiPath RPA Platform Architect

CGI•South Bend, IN

About The Position

Join CGI's Intelligent Automation practice as the technical and governance lead for a greenfield enterprise UiPath program. Design and establish a production UiPath environment from the ground up, define how the automation program operates, and set standards for future automations. This high-visibility role offers direct access to client leadership and the opportunity to build an automation Center of Excellence (CoE) from day one. The position is based in South Bend, Indiana, and remote candidates throughout the USA will be considered. The successful candidate will have CGI's global automation community, training and certification resources, and a collaborative team of architects, developers, and business analysts for support, with room to grow into practice leadership. The role spans platform architecture and administration, security and access management, change control, monitoring and production support, CoE operating-model design, delivery leadership, and executive reporting. The position also advises on program scaling, licensing, and the automation roadmap, including Document Understanding, AI, and agentic automation.

  • Implement enterprise security guardrails, including server and robot hardening, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, segregation of duties, and support for security reviews and compliance audits.
  • Establish Orchestrator alerting, log forwarding to enterprise monitoring tools, job and queue SLAs, incident and problem management runbooks, and production hypercare and steady-state support models.
