UI/UX Designer

About The Position

As a foundational member of our product design team, you’ll work directly with our CPO and engineering leadership to bring clarity, usability, and polish to a deeply technical product. This is a hands-on design role where you’ll drive the entire design lifecycle—from user research and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and shipped features used by leading private equity firms and strategic investors. You’ll help shape a best-in-class user experience for complex workflows powered by cutting-edge AI.

Requirements

3+ years of experience designing production-grade B2B Enterprise-grade SaaS products—bonus for fintech, data, or AI-based tools.
Expertise in UX research methodologies and a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design.
Strong visual design skills and mastery of Figma (or similar tools) for creating and managing design systems.
A keen eye for detail, typography, spacing, and accessibility.
Experience working with or designing interfaces for complex data environments.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity through design.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup with rapid feedback loops and evolving priorities.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with frontend development basics (HTML/CSS, React components) to improve collaboration.
Experience designing for AI-driven products or visualizing large-scale datasets.
Background in private equity, M&A, data analytics, or enterprise workflows.
Prior experience in early-stage startups or as a founding designer.

Responsibilities

Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and workflow analysis to understand how investors interact with diligence platforms.
Translate deep user insight into product requirements, wireframes, and interaction flows.
Develop and maintain a scalable design system aligned with Keye’s product vision and brand identity.
Establish design guidelines for consistency across a growing suite of AI-driven features and interfaces.
Create elegant, data-rich UI components using Figma or similar tools, optimized for clarity and rapid decision-making.
Partner with frontend engineers to bring your designs to life with pixel-perfect execution.
Help define how advanced LLM outputs, structured data, and RAG workflows are surfaced to users in ways that feel intuitive and trustworthy.
Explore novel interaction patterns for AI explainability, summarization, and interactive diligence.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and customers to rapidly prototype and iterate.
Lead design critiques, gather feedback, and evolve your work based on real-world use.
