About The Position

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user interface principles, web design, and e-commerce platforms. This role is based in the beautiful city of Hilton Head Island, SC, and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with a focus on delivering high-quality web solutions.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Proficiency in user experience, user interface, web design, and web development.
• Experience with e-commerce and website creation.
• Knowledge of back-end development, hosting, e-commerce, and security aspects.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., UXPin, Balsamiq).
• Good understanding of front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
• Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables).
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
