About The Position

This opportunity is part of Blink's Embedded practice which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners. The role involves designing and developing beautiful, functional front-end UI and experiences, translating business and customer requirements into elegant experiences, and collaborating with designers to build and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible design systems. The position also requires collaboration with front-end developers to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle, crafting code that controls the look and feel of an experience (colors, typography, responsive layout, motion, interactions), and writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code optimized for performance, stability, and maintainability. The role involves working with cross-functional teams of application/UI software engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA/Validation.

Requirements

• Experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong understanding of modern UI design patterns and human-centered design principles
• Knowledge with React JavaScript framework, CSS, HTML, node - npm, Node.js.
• Experience with Sketch, Figma, Adobe.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, or related field

Responsibilities

• Design and develop beautiful, functional front-end UI and experiences
• Translate business and customer requirements into elegant experiences
• Collaborate with designers to build and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible design systems
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle, bridging the gap between design and code
• Leverage your diverse skill set to craft prototypes and proofs-of-concept that push the boundaries of what’s possible and bring joy to every customer interaction
• Craft code that controls the look and feel of an experience: colors, typography, responsive layout, motion, interactions, and any other visual aspect of the UI
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability
• Work with cross-functional teams of application/UI software engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA/Validation
