The UI Developer will analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects, evaluate customer requirements, and provide effective solutions. They will interface with other offices, consult with user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems for current and future system enhancements. The role involves participating in problem resolution related to system design and review, recommending approval of functional and technical design documents, and ensuring systems are compliant with approved standards. The developer will also analyze and evaluate system changes for feasibility and alternative solutions, and work on new systems, upgrades, and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow developing front-end web applications.
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in user interface development for web applications.
  • Proficiency with relevant front-end programming languages, programming frameworks and tools, and development platforms, including Angular, Figma, React, or Vue; HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Bootstrap, JSON, YAML.
  • Proficiency with software development SDLC and project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware of all types.
  • Ample experience developing CSS, from design through implementation.
  • Experience developing a design system and consolidating disparate user facing applications into a coherent collection of components in a UI code library.
  • Knowledge of multi-tiered applications such as web services, APIs, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, and report servers.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a IT related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures.
  • Work on the development of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards.
