UAT Test Manager
About The Position
The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the SDLC and Software Quality Assurance concepts and best practices. This role requires 8 years of experience in software testing, proven working knowledge of testing methodologies, and the ability to manage defects and develop QA metrics. Experience with HP/Mercury Quality Center is required. Mainframe programming, scripting, or experience in test automation are considered a plus. The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with other teams, facilitate meetings, and interact with both technical and business stakeholders. Working knowledge of supporting protocols for mainframe and distributed environments is necessary. Proficiency in Software Testing techniques, methodologies, and defect management is essential. The role involves running daily defect triage meetings and reporting. Hands-on experience with Jira and X Ray, as well as testing web applications in AWS, is required. The position demands in-depth knowledge of developing test strategies and test plans for large, complex systems. Expertise in creating test plans, developing test scenarios, and generating QA metrics and reports is expected. Demonstrated skills in facilitating and organizing the proficient execution of test cases/scripts are crucial. The ability to identify gaps in test coverage to meet business requirements is also a key responsibility.
