About The Position

Eventive Sports, the industry leader in dedicated sports event management, is seeking a UA Gameday Operations Intern. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Eventive Sports manages major sporting events and provides Gameday operations for various universities and organizations. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing, executing, and enhancing operational plans for the University of Alabama's Gameday events. The intern will gain exposure to campus security, parking, coordination with multiple entities, traffic flow optimization, fan experience observation, and website/social media management.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Energetic, outgoing personality.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in sports and/or a career in the sports industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Willingness to do manual labor.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work all 7 UA home games and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operational duties such as signage, cones, and barricade placement.
• Collect and analyze key operational metrics.
• Work with vendors to ensure quality service is provided.
• Observe the fan experience and provide improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Potentially work other Eventive Sports events based on performance and reliability.
