About The Position

LTC Language Solutions is seeking a U.S. Culture Instructor for face-to-face training in the Houston, Texas area. We have at least one adult student who is relocating to Houston and has requested cultural training focused on helping the student adjust to life in Houston and the United States. Topics may include daily life, local customs, communication styles, navigating community resources, and other areas based on the student's relocation goals. The training will consist of 8 hours total, delivered as 4x 2-hour classes.

Requirements

Must reside in the Houston area.
Must be able to conduct training in English.

Responsibilities

Conduct 8 hours of U.S. cultural training for a relocating expatriate.
Focus training on helping the student adjust to life in Houston and the United States.
Cover topics such as daily life, local customs, communication styles, and navigating community resources.
Tailor the training based on the student's relocation goals.
Supplement lessons with authentic local resources, materials, and practical activities.
Conduct training at the student's home or a mutually agreed upon public location in the Houston area.
Participate in an online interview if qualified.
