About The Position

C2 Education is seeking a part-time Tutor to provide high-quality instruction in person, following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' academic growth and development. C2 Education supports students with college test preparation, AP exams, college essays, college admissions, K–12 tutoring, and AP and summer boot camps.

Tutoring sessions are held after school to accommodate students. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. The position is part-time and based at the Naperville South location in Naperville, Illinois, with negligible travel. The stated pay range is $21.00–$30.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Score at the 95th percentile on C2 Education's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Follow C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties relevant to the position and students' needs.
• Tutor students in person.
