About The Position
StudyPoint, a national leader in one-on-one tutoring, is seeking tutors to provide in-home academic support and homework help for elementary and middle school students in subjects including math, language arts, science, and social studies. The ideal candidate will be engaging, energetic, responsive, communicative, organized, adaptable, and able to create a positive and safe learning environment. Tutors will work with students to help them achieve their goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong academic background
- Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes
- Availability for 6 or more hours per week, primarily during Monday-Friday: 3pm-9pm and Saturday/Sunday: 9am-9pm.

- Preference for classroom teachers/paraprofessionals
- Preference for candidates who can cover towns including Houston, Cypress, Fresno, Friendswood, Humble, Katy, Kingwood, League City, Missouri City, Pasadena, Pearland, Richmond, Spring, Sugar Land, The Woodlands.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home academic support and homework help for elementary and middle school students.
- Instruct students in math, language arts, science, social studies, and other subjects.
- Be engaging and energetic while instructing students.
