About The Position
Assist students on course content and effective study skills to learn course material. Student tutors meet regularly with individuals, pairs or groups of students. Tutors generally work with students two hours a week and can be flexibly scheduled between the tutor and tutee.
Requirements
- Must have previously taken the course(s) at Bethel for which they are tutoring and received an A/A-. Student tutors may also be currently taking the course and receiving an A/A- course grade.
- Must have unique knowledge and background in the subject to answer the student’s questions.
- Good communication skills including prompt responses to e-mail requests.
- Must be responsible and dependable.
- Tutor training is required.
- Must be a current student at Bethel University
