About The Position
As a part-time Sylvan Tutor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group setting. You will provide personalized instruction in Reading, Writing, and Math to students of all levels. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Teaching Credential recommended -or- currently pursuing a degree in Education.
- Enjoy teaching, working, and inspiring students.
- Punctual.
- Local and have reliable transportation.
- Minimum of two days a week with Friday and Saturday rotations during the school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in a small group setting.
- Provide personalized instruction in Reading, Writing, and Math to students of all levels.
