Assists students, either individually or in small groups, in the review of course material, solving problems and preparing for tests. This role involves coordinating and/or conducting workshops and study groups, performing marketing activities, serving as a communication link and faculty liaison, guiding students in material selection and usage, maintaining a weekly calendar of available hours, managing instructional materials, collecting and analyzing data, and participating in required tutor training. Additionally, the position may involve providing supervision in the absence of a Learning Center Supervisor and assisting with the recruitment, screening, hiring, orientation, mentoring, and retention of new peer and/or volunteer tutors.
