About The Position

The Turret Operator picks, pulls, and moves whole pallets of products while operating a turret machine and following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role places materials for staging and put-away in a warehouse environment. Operators may also work with other machinery and material-handling equipment. Requirements

Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold-storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry-storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds; the weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working amid varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Write the order number, receiver's name, and case quantity on every order, box, pallet, package, and bin pulled.
Report incorrect tickets promptly to the appropriate leader.
Pull all orders in a timely manner.
After orders are pulled, help run freight and locate products.
Report broken pallets to a supervisor.
Complete the daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave material-handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment.
Follow regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Place materials for staging and put-away in the warehouse.
