About The Position

Hotel Emma is seeking passionate, service-driven candidates for the position of Turn Down Attendant. The purpose of this role is to clean rooms and halls in the hotel, performing a combination of duties to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain hotel standards.

Requirements

Position requires effective communication with guests and co-workers.
Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulate the Hotel Emma Culture.
Six months related experience as a hotel Room Attendant.
Flexible schedule required for the PM shift, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provides turn down service, refreshes the guestrooms in the evenings.
Delivers items to guest rooms and other areas of the hotel.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, fitness center, pool deck, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, associate break room, and locker rooms as well as other work areas.
Replenishes room supplies, such as drinking glasses, note pads, pens.
Performs Room Attendant duties.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties and washes wastebaskets.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Abides by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
Takes the initiative to greet guests and fellow Associates in a friendly and warm manner.
Performs other related duties as required.
