Turf Technician
About The Position
Turf Technicians are responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of the Golf Course and Grounds. This position is both an administrative and active role, requiring equipment to be moved weighing up to approximately 70 pounds. The role may involve exposure to hazards such as adverse weather conditions, loud noise, and frequent and extra working hours due to event demands. Additionally, the position requires comfort with water safety and the ability to respond to water safety events, which could be high-stress situations. This role also requires working events during weekend hours and nights as determined by event needs.

Nice To Haves

- Six months experience in golf grounds or landscape maintenance
Responsibilities
- Raking Bunkers
- Debris clean-up/ removal
- Maintain landscape beds
- Prepare and install sod
- Attend daily staff meetings
- Empty trash containers
- Loads and unloads materials
- Rake and blow leaves
- Trim around shrubs, trees, bunkers, etc.
- Dig holes and trenches to maintain and/or construct drainage
- Aid in irrigation troubleshooting and repair
- Aid in spray and paint applications as directed by supervisors
- Rolling greens
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent and other immediate supervisors.
