About The Position

Ozark Aeroworks LLC (OZARK) is the Model T53 Engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and also provides full maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. OZARK is a respected leader in the T53 Engine market, known for its MRO capabilities and high level of customer commitment. The company is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services worldwide, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and industry standards. To support continued growth, OZARK is seeking a motivated Turbine Engine Technician to join their team. This position will report to the applicable Program Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
  • Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Powerplant (P) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred.
  • Prior FAA Repairman Certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of turbine engine or related mechanical experience preferred.
  • Experience with FAA Part 145 preferred.
  • Experience with Rolls-Royce 250 series or similar engines preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and overhaul tasks on turbine engines and accessories in accordance with approved technical data, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and industry standards.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble engines and subcomponents using specialized tooling and equipment.
  • Evaluate parts for serviceability and determine repair or replacement requirements.
  • Document all work performed in accordance with company quality processes and procedures.
  • Support engine testing and final assembly processes.
  • Maintain proper tool control and ensure equipment is in serviceable condition.
  • Promote and adhere to safety, quality, and 5S standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Support field service activities as needed.
