The Tufting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting tufting machinery to meet production and quality standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient production while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• Previous tufting machine experience is required
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow production instructions
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Able to work well in a team environment or independently

Responsibilities

• Operate tufting machines safely and efficiently
• Set up machinery according to production requirements
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met
• Change yarn, creels, and other machine components
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report maintenance needs
• Keep production records and downtime logs accurate
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
