TT Curing Setup Technician
About The Position
The Truck Tire Curing Setup Tech will be responsible for setting up and making mold changes for Truck Tire Curing Presses. This includes the removal and installation of all bladders, cleaning and drilling venting in molds, and troubleshooting all curing presses with minor adjustments as needed. The role also involves performing mold and bladder changes, building and tearing down bladders, and ensuring serial changes in molds. Additionally, the technician will perform MTC and TPM, tear down and clean segmented molds, drill molds, and clean molds in the press. Adjusting squeeze audits, cure cycle audits, and cure temperature audits according to specifications is also a key responsibility. Ensuring all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored is crucial. This role may not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Responsibilities
- Setup and make mold changes for Truck Tire Curing Presses.
- Removal and installation of all bladders.
- Clean and drill venting in molds.
- Troubleshoot all curing presses and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Perform mold and bladder changes as needed.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Truck Tire Curing Shift Supervisor, and/or Department Manager.
- Troubleshoot curing presses, and make minor emergency adjustments.
- Build and tear down bladders.
- Ensure serial changes in molds.
- Perform MTC, and TPM.
- Tearing down and cleaning segmented molds, drilling molds, and cleaning of molds in press.
- Perform and adjust squeeze audits, cure cycle audits and cure temperature audits accordingly to specs.
- Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
