About The Position

Responsible for setting up, changing over, troubleshooting and documenting process problems associated with plastic injection molding.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three years of related experience in injection molding
• Must have mechanical skills/aptitude (as determined by testing)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, reach above shoulders for periods of times
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, push, pull, grasp, twist, lift, and climb steps

Responsibilities

• Sets and/or pulls out molds from presses
• Works in a safe manner and monitors safety of equipment and work area
• Troubleshoots machines and process issues
• Communicates issues to Lead Process Technician, Production Supervisor or Process Engineer, Toolroom, etc.
• Communicates effectively within shift and with other shifts
• Changes nozzles, nozzle tips, nozzle heater bands, etc. as needed
• Maintains housekeeping and 5S Standards
• Cleans and sets up auxiliary equipment
• Responsible for daily PM's
