The Truss Operations Manager oversees the key administrative and operational functions, including: operations, training and development, problem solving and process improvement. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
3-5 years’ experience in Lumber, Truss, or a related field.
Microsoft Office Suite, including: Work, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Strong knowledge of Sunpro products and services, especially with regards to Truss.
Production management experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as well as strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
Develop and improve Truss division processes, including but not limited to: Lean manufacturing, Dispatch, Design, and Inventory Management.
Manage data to help drive continuous improvement.
Facilitate problem solving activities to drive root-cause, sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence of problems.
Foster a team-oriented environment.
Assist as needed with attracting talented individuals, employee hiring, terminating, and orientation.
Assist Location Managers in training and development of Truss employees.
Set training standards and procedures that focus on production.
Work with Truss employees to create and achieve their Individual Development Plans.
Provide location management during times when location manager is not available.
Ensure compliance with all operations safety requirements.
Adhere to standards of conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned by location management.
