About The Position

The Trucking Operations Specialist will be responsible for verifying and monitoring real-time transport data, coordinating with logistics partners, managing and escalating issues, and supporting data management and reporting. This role requires flexibility in working hours, strong communication and technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipment information.

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekend rotations, or on-call schedules to ensure continuous control tower data monitoring.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines for daily data updates and reporting support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to maintain professional daily communication with the contracted logistics partner.
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset with the ability to respond promptly to client inquiries via email or system updates.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to maintain seamless data handovers across different shifts.
  • High proficiency in data entry and verification, with a strong eye for detail to identify data discrepancies or gaps.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), for processing daily operational data.
  • English and Korean bilingual is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with logistics IT systems such as TMS (Transportation Management Systems), operational dashboards, or shared databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify real-time transport data provided by the contracted logistics partner.
  • Monitor shipment milestones (Origin, In-Transit, Destination) using the partner’s data feeds and operational dashboards.
  • Audit data accuracy to ensure that actual shipment timelines align with contractual schedules and SLAs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the contracted logistics partner’s management team.
  • Communicate client requests and delivery adjustments directly to the partner for execution.
  • Liaise with site personnel at origins and destinations to cross-check partner-provided status against physical site conditions.
  • Identify discrepancies between partner data and actual site conditions (e.g., unreported delays, capacity mismatches).
  • Request immediate corrective actions from the contracted partner when delays or data gaps occur.
  • Escalate critical issues or persistent partner non-compliance to the Control Tower Supervisor based on established protocols.
  • Compile and maintain transport data records in internal tracking systems or TMS.
  • Process raw data received from the partner to assist the Supervisor in generating daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports (e.g., OTD, Lead Time).
  • Archive shipping documentation and performance logs for compliance and audit purposes.
