About The Position

This position is a shared role, jointly funded by the Truckee Chamber and North Tahoe Chamber. The primary purpose is to coordinate established workforce initiatives serving students, job seekers, employers, and emerging leaders throughout the Truckee-North Tahoe region. The role aims to increase participation in existing workforce programs, expand employer engagement, connect residents and employers with resources, support strategic workforce priorities of both Chambers, and improve efficiency through centralized program administration.

Requirements

  • Experience in workforce development or related field.

  • Strong organizational and program management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities.
  • Proficiency in data collection and reporting.
  • Experience with school and educator partnerships.
  • Experience with employer recruitment and coordination.

  • Experience in program coordination, curriculum administration, and speaker engagement.
  • Experience with participant recruitment.
  • Experience with program evaluation and improvements.
  • Experience coordinating alumni engagement activities.
  • Experience coordinating sponsorship outreach, recognition, and fulfillment.
  • Experience managing partnerships.
  • Experience managing regional initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating job fairs.
  • Experience supporting employer outreach.
  • Ability to maintain and share resources and referral information.
  • Ability to collect program data and support reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate implementation of the annual regional workforce work plan.
  • Increase participation in existing workforce programs.
  • Expand employer engagement.
  • Connect local residents and employers with existing workforce resources and pathways.
  • Support the strategic workforce priorities of both the Truckee Chamber and North Tahoe Chamber.
  • Improve efficiency by centralizing program administration.
  • Continue TNT Tech Teens in Truckee and expand the program into North Lake Tahoe.
  • Continue the Futurepreneurs Program, with an emphasis on expanding participation among North Lake Tahoe youth.
  • Serve as the primary contact for school and educator partnerships.
  • Lead employer recruitment and coordination for youth workforce programs.
  • Lead student outreach and communications.
  • Manage program logistics, evaluation, and reporting for youth programs.
  • Serve as the program manager for the North Lake Tahoe Truckee Leadership Program, including coordination, curriculum administration, speaker engagement, participant recruitment, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate alumni engagement activities for the Truckee North Tahoe Leadership Program.
  • Coordinate sponsorship outreach, recognition, and fulfillment for the North Tahoe Lake Truckee Leadership Program.
  • Manage the Next Level Leadership Program partnership.
  • Manage the Destination Champion Program for Truckee and North Tahoe.
  • Manage the Truckee North Tahoe Jobs Collective.
  • Coordinate two regional job fairs annually.
  • Support employer outreach for regional workforce initiatives.
  • Maintain and share regional workforce resources and referral information.
  • Collect program data and support grant, partner, and impact reporting.
  • Deliver the TNT Tech Teens program.
  • Deliver the Youth Entrepreneur Program and Futurepreneurs.
  • Expand North Tahoe participation in TNT Tech Teens and youth entrepreneurship programs.
  • Coordinate the Truckee North Tahoe Leadership Program.
  • Expand participation in the Destination Champion program.
  • Manage the Truckee North Tahoe Jobs Collective.
  • Coordinate two regional job fairs annually.
  • Help produce an annual regional workforce impact report.
