Truck Washer Mon-Fri Nights, 2nd Shift, RVI Scranton
About The Position
This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic to be washed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas Driver’s License
- Pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to shovel
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach
- Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations
- 3 months' work history listed within the past 24 months
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer trailer experience.
Responsibilities
- Use a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area to be washed.
- Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more.
- Perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
- Document information.
- Communicate with others written and verbally.
