About The Position

Maintain a clean fleet of trucks and trailers by conducting regular washing and detailing. This role is essential for ensuring the fleet remains in excellent condition. The Truck Washer will utilize various tools and cleaning agents to perform their duties effectively. Regular and timely attendance is expected, along with adherence to lean production principles.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Self-starter that takes initiative.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Pressure washing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize water, cleaning agents, pressure washers, scrubbers, etc. to maintain a clean fleet.
• Wash the outside of trucks.
• Detail the inside of trucks.
• Fill out sheets to report missing required documents for the safety department.
• Report excessive damage/filth to management.
• Help with oil and tire changes.
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
