About The Position

Truckomat is hiring Truck Wash Crew members for an on-site position. The role pays $13.50 per hour, with commission eligibility after completing training and eligibility for a raise after 90 days. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with a listed shift of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The position involves washing trucks, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. No experience is necessary; training is provided. Employees must work outdoors in all weather conditions. Pre-employment drug testing, including marijuana, background checks, and random employee drug testing are required. Iowa 80 is unable to sponsor a visa.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
Maintain a presentable appearance and follow the correct work attire.
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
Strong attention to detail and enjoyment of completing work to a high standard.
Reliable and hard-working.
Ability to work and communicate in a team environment.
Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must complete required pre-employment drug testing, including marijuana, and a background check; employees are also subject to random drug testing.
Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship; Iowa 80 is unable to sponsor a visa.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and explain the services offered.
Provide excellent customer service to Truckomat customers and create a positive experience by offering extra-mile service.
Hand-brush trucks using high-powered wands, scrubbing brushes, and cleaning supplies.
Keep the work area clean and safe for employees and customers.
Inspect completed work to ensure good wash quality.
Perform general upkeep of the parking lot and premises.
Promptly report wash-bay equipment issues to a supervisor or manager so repairs can be arranged.
