About The Position
Luck Stone's Goose Creek Plant is looking to hire a Bin Truck Operator. This role involves skillfully navigating quarry roads and around the plant to ensure safe loading and unloading of rock. The individual will also assist on the ground with plant maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Must have a team-oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment, or heavy equipment experience is preferred.
- Experience with hands-on maintenance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of vehicle.
- Identify and report road and equipment issues.
- Operate heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and dumping techniques.
- Ensure vehicle receives proper maintenance.
- Assist with plant maintenance when not operating the truck.
- May also operate Water Truck or Haul Truck if needed.
- Prioritize safety throughout the site for self and others.
- Aid coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
