This role involves operating a water truck to control dust and maintain safe, compliant haul roads and work areas. The operator will also be required to operate a haul truck or other mobile equipment as needed to support site operations. Key responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment safety, safely maneuvering vehicles in active quarry, pit, and plant environments, and communicating and coordinating with site personnel while adhering to all safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated capability to safely operate water trucks, haul trucks, or similar mobile equipment
  • Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to conduct routine equipment inspections and recognize potential issues
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production and site needs
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

  • Operate a water truck to control dust and maintain safe, compliant haul roads and work areas
