Responsible for custom fabrication of customer’s trucks. This role involves supporting daily functions including installing, testing, and diagnosing hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and filter assemblies. The technician will work with hydraulic systems including open center, closed center with load sense pumps and EPC valve sections. Utilizing prints and diagrams for hydraulic systems in the truck build-up process is a key part of the job. The technician will communicate regularly with the Team Leader and Operations Manager to assess assigned jobs and identify necessary parts and materials. Cooperation and proactive engagement with customers are expected, as is contributing to continual process improvement. Additional duties include parts delivery and pickup, janitorial work beyond keeping the work area clean, and working a 10-hour shift Monday through Friday with a 4-hour shift on two Saturdays per month. Other duties may be assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
