This full-time position monitors daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson Berry Street facility, answers and transfers phone calls, and provides breaks and coverage at the scale house and team member entrance posts. The role requires ongoing communication with plant management, truck drivers, vendors, Berry Street customers, and team members. The attendant maintains paperwork for inbound and outbound loads, verifies information for accuracy, completes inspections, reports identified issues, and follows up on them. Duties also include checking trailer lots, taking water readings, monitoring the parking lot during scheduled hours, and monitoring items brought into and taken out of the facility while enforcing Tyson policies. The position rotates to other posts to cover absences and breaks, which involves contact with live poultry and entering data into a computer-based scale system. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. The schedule is 6 AM–6 PM Sunday through Tuesday and 6 AM–12 PM Wednesday. Pay is $17.70 per hour. A background check is required. The position is limited to team members currently working at this facility or complex. Former Tyson Foods team members must observe a 180-day waiting period, and applicants with more than two prior Tyson employments will not be considered. Relocation assistance is not available.
